I made this hat for my former boss, who goes hunting in Mississippi. I made it to fit his head precisely (21”) and to just cover his ears. It comes down about halfway over his ears and is closely fitted to the scalp. Since the yarn crochets up camouflaged, it’s perfect for hunting in colder climates. It’s a very quick project that took me about 6 hours, interrupted, and uses less than a skein of yarn.
