As summer turns to fall in the PNW, it brings to mind clear starry evenings, campfires, and s’mores. This design features asymmetrical motifs inspired by the dancing flames of the fires, on the background of the night sky. Bold patterns transition into smaller flames. Simple ribbing and slouchy fit makes this knit beanie a great addition to your winter wardrobe.

The Campfire Hat is a stranded colorwork pattern that is knit in the round using circular needles. Knit with a mix of DK and either Worsted weight yarn or DK held double with mohair, this pattern encourages knitters to play with both color and texture, including both mixing colorways and dyers.

The combination of yarns used in this sample is only a suggestion from the Designer. Alternative yarns are encouraged to address the knitters’ unique circumstances.
