These twinkly trees are my gift to you! Thank you for all your support this year, for knitting my designs and for enjoying all things whimsical with me!

These Regency inspired Christmas trees are week 4 of the Jane Austen Wreath KAL! The KAL runs to the end of the month, so there’s still time to join the fun for those who are interested!

I love adding embroidery to my designs, so this was a very fun project to work on! I love the overall look you get from embroidery and how when you are stitching you are forced to slow down and pay attention (which is extra nice during the silly season)!

They are knit in the round on dpns. The bottom is left open so they can be stuffed and stand independently. The smaller one also makes a nice hanging ornament. I think the trees would make a nice blank canvas for other embroidery. Maybe some Lazy Daisies in the spring, or some French Knot apples for the fall. Maybe even a white tree with blue snowflakes! All you need is some time spent dreaming and away you go!

Praise for Candlelit Christmas Trees

Great pattern. I don’t knit so I worked it in crochet waistcoat stitch. Came out beautifully. (anotherSCA)
