May 2026 - My grandson has developed an illness which needs to be taken care of at an advanced hospital out of state. My son and daughter in law are experiencing a substantial hardship while getting the proper care for him. There is a GoFundMe that a kind friend has opened for him. Welcome to Wee Folk Valley! My name is Natasha. I’m a kiwi currently living in Minnesota. My passion is designing seasonal decorations for the home. I also love to photograph my knits in nature. Because I design a lot of minis, I often knit them in the round on dpns.

My designs are inspired by my childhood growing up in the New Zealand countryside, waldorf toys, children’s books illustrators like Elsa Beskow and my need for whimsy and escapism from bad news. I know everyone says it, but I really do obsess over making my designs as non-fiddly as possible.
