This pattern is a very bright and cozy Candy Corn sweater for your adult cat, knit in the round and whips up quickly.
Just a few short hours of knitting and your pet will be the sweetest on the block. Approx 2.5 hours, see sizing notes below.

Needles, Notions, Yarn
Yarn - I like Knit Picks Brava (acrylic) for this, for ease of washing - as we are talking pets here.
Plus it really is very pretty and soft, and easy to work with.

Needles -
DPN, #10 knitting needles. (minimum)
Circular #10 if you have it, thought DPNs could be used throughout.
#3 Needles, any sort, for last bauble button, if doing those.

Notions - Embroidery needle

Techniques -
A couple optional Bauble buttons (simple to learn, video link provided as well as steps)
Loop fasterner - simple
Knit in round
K1P1
Simple Cast on and Bind off
K2Tog

Sizing Notes - This is for a medium adult cat.
But! Entirely in 1x1 rib, so very stretchy and accommodating of smaller or larger cats.
Un-stretched and stretched measurements so you can understand range:

---- < collar opening is a V so quite large, 7” inches (circumf.)
V < v where collar comes together - 7” inches, 10” stretched
---- < across back, from leghole to leghole - 3”, 5” stretched *
-- < across chest, from leghole to leghole - 2”, 3.5” stretched *
------ < body of garment tapers down to end - like a cat -- 10”, 14” stretched

measures with asterisks are just straight line measures, not circumferences around the entire cat/garment body.

Collar Opening has several options - bauble buttons (or just add regular buttons) or skip and leave as V.
