DESCRIPTION

CANYON is an oversized tank/vest with a fitted crew neck and deep armholes. It features seamless top-down construction, with an applied i-cord for the neck and optional bust darts added at the hem (for a more invisible, gender-neutral look).

SIZING

TO FIT UPPER BUST/CHEST CIRCUMFERENCE:
In inches: (30, 34, 38) [42, 46, 50] {54, 58, 62}
In centimeters: (75, 85, 95) [105, 115, 125] {135, 145, 155}

To choose your size, measure your upper bust/chest circumference (your chest right at your underarms).

In the photos, Jaq (they/them) is wearing two samples. The purple-grey sample is size 8 (68”/172cm) with 12”/30cm of positive ease at the chest and size C darts. The orange sample is a size 7 (64”/162cm) with 8”/20cm of positive ease at the chest and no bust darts.

GAUGE, NEEDLES, NOTIONS

Gauge: 24 sts and 32 rows over 4”/10cm in stockinette
Recommended needles:
Main needles: US 4 (3.5 mm) 40”/100cm circular
Smaller needles for ribbing: US 2.5 (3.0mm) 40”/100cm circular
Notions: stitch markers, locking stitch markers, darning needle

YARN

Canyon was designed in Kelbourne Woolens Camper, a fingering weight 100% wool yarn with a subtle halo, beautiful sheen, and clean stitch definition. For a lighter, warmer-weather version of the pattern, 100% cotton or cotton-blend yarns also work beautifully.

YARN REQUIREMENTS:

Yards: (810, 885, 975) [1050, 1125, 1200] {1300, 1390, 1485}
Meters: (735, 805, 895) [960, 1030, 1095] {1180, 1270, 1350}
