Oh my this is just so pretty!! It is the perfect accessory to keep close by the dog’s leash, so that you are ready when it is time to walk the dog!

This design can be worn so many ways. You can just throw it over your head, letting the unsewn edges fall over your shoulders in a cape, placing the colors in a manner that flatters your face.

Another way is to button the cowl and wear as a hood or snood in the case of snow or rain.

My favorite is to have the sewn edge rolled down in a turtle neck fashion, letting the unsewn edges fall over your shoulders like a cape, letting your “fancy” buttons show.

It is so easy to adapt this design to the weather conditions, as your doggie will always need to be walked!

This pattern is easy, well tested,
It uses 4 worsted weight yarn

Gauge: 4” x 4”= 10 rows x 12 stitches across in Houndstooth Check Pattern ( SC in nxt ST, DC in nxt ST)

Be sure to grab the other coordinating items that match this cowl, and there are more on the way!
