I’ve had this sweater in mind for a long time and I’m happy to finally be able to present it to you, the Cara Sweater!

It’s a #sizeinclusive and beginner friendly crochet pattern.

It comes in 9 sizes, from XS to 5XL, with instructions on how to make a longer or shorter sweater if needed.

The V-neck, the front seam in relief and the side splits give this sweater a modern touch and make it adaptable to any outfit, from casual to elegant.

Here are some characteristics of the design and what you will find inside the PDF pattern:

  • Beginner friendly crochet pattern, written in US Terms.

  • Color-coded sizes and step-by-step photos.

  • The sweater is worked from bottom up in five panels (one back panel, two front panels and two sleeve panels). There are directions on how to sew detached sleeves to the body. The finishing of the collar is crocheted onto the body once it’s sewn.

  • The sweater is designed to be worn with 4”- 6” (10 - 15 cm) of positive ease.

  • It’s designed to fit the following bust measurements: XS (28”-30”), S (32”-34”), M (36”-38”), L (40”-42”), XL (44”-46”), 2XL (48”-50”), 3XL (52”-54”), 4XL (56”-58”), 5XL (60”-62”). If you are between sizes, size up.

  • Final bust measurements are: XS (34”), S (38”), M (42”), L (46”), XL (50”), 2XL (54”), 3XL (58”), 4XL (62”), 5XL (66”).

  • You will need approx. 12 (13, 14, 16, 17, 18, 19, 21, 22) balls of Drops Design’s “Cotton Light” yarn, or approx. 1305 (1450, 1595, 1740, 1885, 2030, 2175, 2320, 2465) yards of any weight 3 / DK / light worsted weight yarn.

  • There are directions on how to make a longer/shorter sweater.

  • The sample in the picture is a size S.

I hope you will enjoy it! :)
