Cardamom is a lovely little hoodie to keep your little (and not-quite-so-little) ones warm. Whether you prefer pullover or jacket-style hoodies (a hot debate in hipster circles), Cardamom has you covered. It’s a relatively straightforward pattern, and a fairly quick knit, worked mostly in stocking stitch.

This is a somewhat loose-fitting hoodie for everyday wear. The hood is designed to fit snugly, with a shaped panel across the back and top of the head for a smooth, round shape. Button bands are worked in linen stitch, which adds a touch of elegance to this otherwise fairly basic hoodie. Both jacket and pullover styles feature front pockets with diagonal side openings that are worked simultaneously with the front of the sweater.

Cascade 220 Superwash is a pretty light worsted yarn. Valley Yarns Valley Superwash is a true worsted. Choose a yarn that produces a fabric you like at the indicated gauge, I’d probably use anything from a DK (or even sport weight) to a heavy worsted.
