The Cardigan Beanie is inspired by a Taylor Swift’s Folklore cardigan. It features similar texture and cabled elements to resemble the original cardigan.

This is an intermediate/advanced beginner pattern. You must know or be willing to learn how to decrease and how to knit cables.

The pattern calls for US sizes 7&8 needles, or whatever is needed to obtain gauge. The gauge is 20 stitches x 28 rounds in moss stitch.

Two different colors of worsted weight yarn are used to achieve the striped rib on the brim. For the main color you will need approximately 110 yards, and 13 yards for the secondary color.
