This beanie pattern was inspired by the cardinal flower and comes in several versions: small and large worsted weight version, and a fingering weight version.

Gauge
Worsted weight: 17 stitches and 9 rows = 4 inches in double crochet
Fingering weight: 34 stitches and 18 rows = 4 inches in double crochet

Worsted weight small: 18” circumference, 8” height (175 yd)

Note that the hat will stretch, and you will want some negative ease.
