When Carrissa was a young bunny she adored her name as much as she adored the multitude of carrots she consumed daily. Nothing was quite as important as her crunchy orange vegetables.
But when Carrissa became a mother her outlook on life changed. She was in love with her baby and could sit for hours cuddling him as he munched on his carrots. Life was somehow different as a parent!
Carrissa is free standing and enjoys standing with her basket of carrots when baby is resting. But when the little one wants attention she will sit primly and cuddle him for hours.
Carrissa is knit from Bernat Satin yarn and her bambino is done in the same yarn but with a smaller needle. Her sun dress is worked in Bernat Softee Baby in Lavender Lullaby- a subtle blend of Easter colors mauve and mint green. She sports ballerina shoes and underwear that are worked in mauve yarn. Her basket is knit in short rows and the carrots that fill it are created with fingering yarn.
