Included in this pattern are instructions for both the fingerless gloves and mittens. The pattern will begin the same for both at the cuff and then instruct you when to stop and how to proceed with finishing up the top for the mittens or the gloves. When you have finished the tops of either the gloves or mittens, you will proceed to the end of the pattern to make the thumb.

This entire project is knit using only double pointed needles and the thumb is a gusset thumb that will be placed onto a placeholder and then picked up and finished up at the end.
