The Castamere blanket was inspired by my son Tott’s favourite..um…lullaby, “The Rains of Castamere” from George R.R. Martin’s series A Song of Fire and Ice. It’s a super-simple stashbuster worked solely in stockinette stitch and finished with a crochet edging.

The blanket in the picture used 3 skeins red Rauma 3-ply, 2 skeins yellow Rauma 3-ply and 1.5 skeins black Dale of Norway Falk.

NB! I use Canadian/UK spellings but American crochet terminology.
