What crochet bag is complete without a cat? The Cat Yarn Project Bag is fun, cute and functional, and it keeps your yarn and projects organized at home and on the go.

The bag is worked from the bottom up and joined in the round, then finished with grommets, safety eyes and a leather strap.

✨ What makes it work

• Bottom up in the round. Joined rounds, and chains do not count as stitches when joining.
• Grommet details. Eyelets keep your yarn feeding smoothly.
• Upcycle friendly. The sample handle is an old leather belt.

• Yarn: I Love This Cotton, Hobby Lobby, about 460 yds. Colors shown: A 310 Dove (2 skeins), B 06 White (small amount), C 300 Pale Denim (under 25 yds), D 254 Rosey (small amount), E 308 Pewter (small amount)
• Love a swap? Sugar’n Cream, Lily · Creme de la Creme, Red Heart · Handicrafter Cotton, Bernat · Down To Earth, Yarn Bee · Dishie, WeCrochet (always check gauge)
• Hook: H (5.0mm)
• Tools: Yarn Needle · Scissors · Sharp needle and thread · Quick Dry Fabric Fusion (liquid stitch)
• To finish like the sample: 2 cat Safety Eyes (18mm) · Large Eyelet Kit 1/4” (6.35mm), 2 grommets · Extra Large Eyelet Kit 7/16” (1.1cm), 3 grommets · Leather strap for the handle
