The Catena Socks are worked from cuff to toe with a heel flap and gusset. The design features an indulgent combination of different textures from twisted ribbing and seed stitch columns to intricate cable details at the front of the socks.

The pattern comes in four different circumference sizes and the length of the foot can be adjusted to individual preference. Depending on the circumference size and foot lenght, 60-100g (252-420m/276-459yds) of fingering weight sock yarn is required.

The sample socks are knitted in Filcolana Arwetta (Mustard 136) and hand dyed sock yarn by In the Crochet Corner (in colour way: Bag of Gold).

The pattern is written for the Magic Loop Method but can be easily adapted to double pointed needles. Both chartered and round-by-round instructions are provided.

The Catena Socks are an intermediate pattern but as all steps of the knit are well described, the pattern is not too intimidating for slightly less experienced knitters as well!
