This cowl is knit in the round on circular needles and uses purl stitches against a primarily stockinette stitch background to create the tiny “mountain ranges”. It is a perfect layering piece for winter and spring alike and a great unisex accessory!

What you will need:
218 yd (199 m) in any worsted (category 4) weight yarn (like Knit Picks Brava Worsted)
Size 7 US (4.5 mm) circular knitting needles with a 16” cable
1 stitch marker
Tapestry yarn needle
Scissors

Skill level: Beginner

Skills needed: Casting on, knit stitch, purl stitch, binding off, knitting in the round.
