• Size “I” (5.50 MM) hook
• Size “H” (5.00 MM) hook

• Safety pins or (this really makes it easier to get the cat hat and beanie placed/ sewn on just right) Styrofoam head or ball and stick pins Notes:

1. This pattern was created with the beginner in mind, there are no complicated stitches and it is fully written out for each size
2. This pattern is written in US terms for the right handed crocheter
3. This pattern is 11 pages and contains 5 sizes: a. XS- child (1-3) – fits head circumference up to 17” b. S- child (3-5) – fits head circumference up to 18” c. M- child (6-12) – fits head circumference 20” d. L- (teen) – fits head circumference up to 22” e. XL- Adult- fits head circumference 23”-24”

6. Gauge using HDC and size “I” (5.50 MM) hook: 12 rows= 4”, 14 sts= 4”
7. Chains at beginning of rounds do not count in stitch count
8. Numbers in parentheses at end of rounds indicate total stitch count for round
9. Finished product: wash in cold or luke-warm water, tumble dry on low heat or lay flat to dry
