About
The Cecilia Check Sweater is an effortlessly oversized knit with a laid-back, romantic feel. Featuring a soft stockinette body with subtle broken rib details and a split hem. The sweater is finished with airy bishop sleeves with a delicate floral check lace. Designed for easy layering and chilly summer nights.

Construction
The Cecilia Check Sweater is worked top down and started by working German Short Rows for the back. Then, stitches are picked up for each front whilst creating a purl detail. The fronts are also shaped with German Short Rows. The armholes are shaped with increases to create a modified drop shoulder with a proper fit.

Then, the front and back are joined together and the sweater is worked in the round. The body is finished with a split hem and simple 1x1 ribbing. Stitches are picked up for each sleeve which are worked in the round. The sleeves feature an easy checkered lace motif together with broken rib stitch. Next, decreases are made for a cinched cuff with 1x1 ribbing.

Finally, stitches are picked up around the neck which also features a purl detail and 1x1 ribbing.
