The Cedar Mug Cozy pattern has the coziest texture and is aptly named as the (modified) alpine stitches resemble a forest of evergreens!

This crochet pattern features detailed written instructions in US crochet terms with step-by-step photos. The PDF totals 7 pages. This pattern has been tested.

Skill level: Intermediate

Yarn and hook size: approximately 45 yards of worsted/aran (4) weight yarn and a 5 mm hook. Instructions include notes on how to easily adjust the finished size of the cozy, so any yarn weight and hook combination will work. Please don’t hesitate to contact me for help with adjusting the size!

Other materials:
-I typically use a 1 inch coconut shell button for my cozies.
-If you would like your cozy to be adjustable, you can use some cord and a cord lock. I use 2mm cotton piping cord and a 14mm cord lock, but you can use whatever you would like. You can also experiment with slip knots or other methods to make the cozy adjustable.
-If you don’t need the cozy to be adjustable, you will create a button loop when you do the border and do not need extra materials. Instructions are included in the pattern.
