The Pi shawl is lovely half circle shawl. The technique needed allows for a large number increase with the following rows drawing out the ripples made by the increases.

The Chaos shawl pictured in this pattern works up to the size Shawl 130cm by 65cm. For it I used 2 skeins of the Dove Dale Sock yarn, approximately 400mtrs per skein.

It works up well in a plain yarn as much as it does in the hand painted yarns. The pattern is designed to let you work it you desired quantity of yarn. So, whilst I have listed two skeins, you can work it with three or even four if you so desire!!
