This sweet vase cover can be made in any size to cover any size cylinder vase. Add a bouquet of flowers and this would make an extra special gift for Mother’s Day, May Day or a housewarming. The base is crocheted first to fit the bottom width of any size cylinder vase. The gingham pattern is then worked in the round in double crochet with two alternating colors for each round. A simple scallop edging completes the look.

The vase cover is made with 3 colors of Scheepjes Bloom (100% cotton). A cover made to fit a 3.5 x 10” tall vase uses approx. 75 grams.
