Chasing Butterfiles is worked in single-colour rows using the overlay mosaic crochet technique.

There are no special stitches, and no mid-row colour changes, making the pattern perfect for beginners to the technique.

Finished throw using DK yarn and 4.5mm hook is approx. 90cm wide x 80cm high (this measurement does not include a border). The exact finished size will be dependent on hook size, yarn used and tension of crocheter.

The pattern is 160 stitches wide and 129 rows high.
