ABOUT

The Chateau Sweater reimagines the decorative bodices of 18th century baroque gowns as modern day knitwear, complete with blousing sleeves, a flowering central panel and a classic square neckline.

This piece is knit in the round from the bottom up. The straps and upper back are knit flat, and stiches are then picked up for loose, set in sleeves. Finish the piece with mock cabled cuffs and i-cord edging around the neckline, and you have a garment plucked straight out of the ballrooms of the Chateau de Versailles!
