Check Yourself is a great pattern for an adventurous beginner or intermediate knitter who would like to learn a few new tricks. Advanced knitters will find this simple project satisfies that urge to play with color. This cowl utilizes a provisional cast on, a folded hem, and a straightforward grid like chart for stranded knitting in which you work with no more than two strands at one time and never have to wrap or tuck floats.

Yarn: Brooklyn Tweed Shelter (100% American Targhee-Columbia Wool; 140 yards) in three colors.
140 yards MC, 100 yards of CC1 and 55 yards of CC2.

Needle: US 7 (4.5mm) and US 8 (5mm)
