Casual yet cute, comfortable yet classy. Who says one should exclude the other? This knit is a fitted tee worked from the top-down and is perfect all year-round. Lace sleeves, a gorgeous collar and a big frontal opening all come together to create this piece. This pattern is written for intermediate knitters and is perfect for knitters who want to try their hand at lace knitting!

This pattern has it all – from written instructions to charts, to video tutorials… Tips and advice are pointed out throughout the pattern to help you through. The goal is for your knitting experience to be pleasant and the pattern is written in such a way for that goal to be achieved!

What makes this pattern unique?
• It has a top-down construction, with 4-stitch raglans.
• A big frontal opening, almost like a v-neck.
• The ribbing used for the collar, the frontal opening, the cuffs and body ribbing is atypical… have you
ever heard of the Cartridge Belt Rib Stitch? This rib when worked flat doesn’t using any purling at all!
• The sleeves are in a lace pattern as well, and have the option to be either long or short.
• As this is fitted, this pattern is written for your garment to fit you perfectly to your own measurements.

What you need to know…
What you need
• Measuring tape.
• 3mm (US 2.5) circular needles with an 80 cm (32 in) cord (or longer if you wish to try it on and your bust size is larger than this), as well as two other cables or scrap yarn to hold the sleeves.
• 10 stitch markers.
• A darning needle.
• A third needle (one circular needle counts as 2 needles), preferably 3 mm (US 2.5) or smaller for a 3-needle bind off.
• Optional: Clasps and/or buttons, along with a sewing needle and thread.

Yarn

I recommend using one strand of fingering-weight merino wool (100g/400m or 100g/437yd). Of course, you may use whatever you’d like as long as it meets gauge. The quantity of yarn that you will need will depend on your bust size, waist size, sleeve length and body length. As the majority of the pattern depends on your options and personal dimensions, I cannot predict how much yarn you will personally need. However, I suggest you plan a bare minimum of 600m for lower sizes, and 900m for higher sizes.

Gauge

The gauge for this pattern is 30 sts x 42 rows for
10cm x 10cm. Ensuring that you have the correct gauge is very important so that the garment fits perfectly!
