This 15 page pattern provides written and photo instructions to create this lace parasol cover. There are no charts in this pattern, and there are no instructions for creating tassels or embellishing the cover with beads.

Skill Level: Easy

Please advise the following sample round, which is one of the most complicated in the pattern, and use this as a litmus test to determine whether your skills are suited for this pattern.

Rnd 45: Ch5, dc3tog, ch1, 2dc in next 2 dc, ch1, (dc, ch1) in next dc, 2dc in next 2 dc, ch1, dc3tog, ch2, (dc, ch2) in next dc, 2dc in next dc, (dc, ch1) in next dc, sk next st, dc in next dc, (2dc, ch2) in next dc, (dc, ch2) in next dc rep * * 18 more times and 1 more time, sl st in 3rd ch st from beg of rnd (17 dc sts, 2 dc3tog, 4 ch2 spaces, and 5 ch1 spaces in each motif repeat)

Approximately 1 cake of Hobbii Sultan Cotton Kings

• Fingering Weight/2
• Cake Length: 874 yards
• Length Used For Cover: Approximately 815 yards

Darning/Sewing needle

Super glue

Parasol frame (Note: this cover will not fit anything other than a 10 spoke, 35 in/87 cm diameter parasol frame)
