“Cherry Blossom” is a lightweight sweater with an unusual all-over lace pattern that is sure to become your wardrobe staple on early spring or cool summer days! No need to break out the winter woollies!

Offered in sizes S to XL, this long sleeved, fitted sweater is knitted using the “Chinese lace” pattern, and a smaller 6 stitch 4 row repeat intersecting pattern. With 4 up to 7 plain stockinette stitches and only one paired increase/decrease per 9 stitch repeat, over a 24 row repeat, the Chinese lace stitch is both easy enough to ensure speedy completion of the garment, and varying enough to keep you interested.

The bottom and sleeve hem pattern features bobbles, evoking dangling cherries. The sweater has a classic set-in-sleeve construction, a round neckline, and is knitted in the round up to the armholes to avoid side seams. This is a charted pattern.

Yarn used in sample: Lana Grossa Silkhair, color 086 (Puderrosa).
