Cherry Tee
The Cherry Tee is a crochet T-shirt featuring a classic fit, thick and thin stripes, understated detailing and neat edgings. Worked in fingering-weight yarn, it’s a lightweight, easy-to-wear top that’s a versatile wardrobe staple but can also be dressed up.
And, as a cherry on top, the pattern includes plenty of options to customize your tee to suit your style, the occasion or the climate. Choose between short sleeves or long, tapered sleeves, a straight or waist-shaped body, and two different edging options.
CONSTRUCTION
Worked top-down using compound raglan construction. The neckline is shaped with short rows, and raglan increases shape the yoke. Once the armhole depth is reached, the work is divided into body and sleeves. The body is worked with a side detail added on each side and finishes with edging. The neckline edging is then added. Sleeves are worked last and finish with edging. Long sleeves are tapered towards the wrists using decreases.
