The inspiration for the Cheshire Stripe Sock comes from Alice’s Adventure in Wonderland. This is the flagship sock for an ebook collection of sock patterns all inspired by Lewis Carrol’s book.

The Cheshire Stripe Sock is my version of a scrappy sock only with fewer ends to sew in. Four colors are used and the stripe begins with narrow striping, wider striping is worked in the middle and the foot ends with narrow striping. An afterthought heel is worked midway. The toe is a standard round toe.

Included in the pattern is a link to a video tutorial on how to minimize jogs when working the stripes and also how to avoid ladders when changing needles.
