These cute chevron lace ankle socks are fun and easy to knit and are perfect for spring and summer. Techniques include basic lace knitting, such as yarn overs and knitting 2 stitches together. They are knit from the cuff down and finished with kitchener stitch. The foot length is adjustable; just knit until you reach the base of your toes, then work the toe section and finish off. I prefer a lightweight acrylic yarn, but any super fine sock yarn will work. I used a 4 mm needle to cast on, then continued using 3.5 mm and 3 mm double pointed needles.
