A clean, satisfying colorwork project with a bold geometric rhythm — the chevron repeat is easy to memorize and fun to watch grow.
The Chevron Chalk Bag is knit in the round from the bottom up using stranded colorwork. The top edge folds over to hold an adjustable cinch cord, and the finished bag is lined in fleece to keep chalk dust contained. It works just as well as a dog treat pouch or small cinch bag — clip it to your harness or your leash.
If you’ve been curious about stranded colorwork, the chevron is a great place to start — two colors, a straightforward repeat, and a useful finished object.
