From the website: A gorgeous vest. Gaughan seems to have been incapable of producing juvenelia; even her earliest work is utterly wearable today. Shoulders and back neck are unshaped, but who cares when the piece has the drama and impact of this one? The front cabled bands are worked separately and sewn on; armholes are very deep; cable pattern is not charted. Newport was a heavy worsted knitting up to 4 st/1in/2.5cm on a 5.5mm/US9 needle in st st. Gauge given is over chevron pattern.

I made it in Classic Elite Tapestry. It is a stunning feminine vest.
