This seamless top-down modular knit uses a combination of increases & decreases for shaping, just like a large chevron stitch, to create a unique shape and fit: increases at the sides, decreases in the front and back – you could also call it bias knitting in the round. The result is a unique and fun little top – perfect for summer!

The top can be knit in one or two colors. The different textures of herringbone stitch, garter- and stockinette stitch and chevron shaping make for an interesting result either way.

The herringbone shoulders are knit flat, then stitches are picked up and cast on for the front (and back) to work a combination of short-rows and raglan shaping. Later, the body is worked in the round with chevron shaping and finished with an i-cord bind off.

Choose between the cropped and long version.

Dieses leichte Raglan-Top wird von oben (den Schultern) nach unten gestrickt und kommt ganz ohne Nähte aus. Eine Kombination von Zu- und Abnahmen ergibt die ungewöhnliche Form: ein Zick-Zack-Muster (Chevron) – hinten und vorne kürzer, an den Seiten länger. Durch die unterschiedlichen Texturen von Fischgrät-Muster, glatt- und kraus rechts sieht das Top sowohl ein- als auch zweifarbig gut aus.

Es gibt eine kurze und eine lange Variante des Tops.

Die Schultern sind in einem meiner Lieblingsmuster gearbeitet: im Fischgrät-Muster oder engl. herringbone. Danach wird in einer Kombination aus verkürzten Reihen und Raglan gearbeitet. Der Hauptteil wird in Runden gestrickt, bevor mit einem i-cord abgeschlossen wird.
