Notes: Chiaroscuro is worked from end to end, using nine separate balls of yarn. Strips are worked separately in purled garter stitch, twisted, and then joined to create a stable fabric. One strand of yarn A and one strand of yarn B are held together throughout; winding the two yarns together while creating the nine balls is recommended to avoid tangling.
