The colorway used is the first colorway dyed for the Brenda and Heather Mystery Sock Yarn Club. It is a set of matching 50g skeins dyed to be able to create identical socks. The yarn was inspired by a sunset photo from Monument Valley. We dyed extra skeins, so club subscriptions, or individual sets are available for purchase until they run out. This colorway is dyed on our Tuff Toes base.

Yarn sales currently to US customers due to limitations of our online store. Sorry for any inconvenience.

In this top-down sock pattern, slipped stitches are eventually cabled, creating a series of tiny bird tracks across the fabric, giving the pattern its name.

When used with the featured colorway, the stitch pattern reminded me of the clouds swirling in the sky of the photo.

I have included an alternate stitch pattern which is only slightly different from the main pattern, but I think also works very well with this colorway.
