Chicken Koka Plushie
Meet your new lovely plushie - Koka the Chicken!
This beginner-friendly pattern is designed to be worked with super bulky plush chenille yarns like Himalaya Dolphin Baby, Wolans Yarns Bunny Baby, or YarnArt Dolce, giving your finished toy a soft, velvety feel. Although you can also use other yarns like Bernat Blanket or similar bulky yarns, just keep in mind that the toy’s size will vary depending on your yarn choice.
Pattern Details:
Crochet pattern with process photos in PDF (6 pages).
Written in English (US crochet terms).
Designed for right-handed crocheters.
Skills Required - basic crochet knowledge:
ch – chain
st / sts – stitch / stitches
sc – single crochet
sl st – slip stitch
inc – increase
dec – decrease
Materials & Tools:
- chunky chenille / plush yarn (100% polyester, 100 g / 120 m = 3.5 oz / 131 yds)
yarn consumption:
main color - about 20-30 g = 0.7-1.1 oz (depending on the color)
mustard color - about 50 cm (19.7 in)
red color - about 1 m (39.4 in)
- 4 mm (size G-6) crochet hook;
- stuffing - polyester fiberfill (hollow fiber);
- scissors;
- yarn needle;
- stitch marker (or a thin thread);
- thin black yarn for embroidering the eye lines;
- 10 mm (0.39 in) plastic safety eyes.
Finished Size:
The size of the finished toy is about 12 cm (4.7 inches) if you use the specified or similar materials and tools.
