CHILL ON A SUMMER’S DAY SWEATER

Chill on a Summer’s Day Sweater is a classical, yoke
sweater design, when you look at the form. But it is different from other yoke sweaters, because the patterns in the yoke are atypical, distressed and more intuitive than traditional motives.

The sweater is knitted on circular needles, top down, so you start knitting the neck part and end with the hem. After the yoke there will be a division, the front- and backpart are knitted as a whole and the sleeves will be knitted apart.

The yarn that I choose for this sweaterdesign - Ecopuna from Lana Grossa - is light and soft, a mix of natural fibres; airy cotton, and warm merinowool and alpaca.

It makes this sweater perfect for wearing in Spring and Summer, especially during evenings or chilly days.
