This is a very basic pattern. Charted only. It can be slightly adjusted by increasing or decreasing the skulls repeat (16 stitches). You could also turn it into a beanie pretty easily.

It’s got some very long floats (like 60 stitches….), but you’re out there protesting and giving ICE hell. Floats are nothing to a badass like you.

Or you could break the yarn and add the contrasting color back in when the pattern repeat starts again. Your pick! You’re still a badass. Chinga La Migra! Fuck Ice!

Rows 18/19 have the longest floats.

I used some leftover knitpicks fingering weight yarn for the pink. For the blue, I used some leftover unknown fingering weight which was a bit heavier than the knitpicks.
