This sweater is knitted top down. You’ll start with the neckband, and can choose to do short rows or not, then the chest and shoulders. Arms are separated and the body is knitted first, then the sleeves.

There’s no shaping to the body, the ribing pattern makes it a fitted sweater on it’s own.

You can choose to make it shorter or longer than what’s described in the pattern, and there’s a description for how to make it a dress.

You can make the sleeves as long or short as you like.

I recommend using wool yarn that holds it’s shape well in ribbing. Using cotton or a yarn that looses it’s shape will affect the fit of the sweater after a few wears.

Sizing
Size 1, 2, 3 (4, 5, 6) 7, 8, 9

Chest circumference approx: 74, 84, 95 (105 115, 125) 135, 145, 155 cm / 29, 33, 37 (41, 45, 49) 53, 57, 61 in

This sweater is knitted with 0 ease for a tight fit. If you want a looser fit, I suggest knitting a size or two larger than your chest circumference. However, doing so might greatly affect the fit of the sweater since all shaping is created by the ribbing, and going up a size might make it much looser over the chest & back, and still fitted over the waist and hips.
