This pattern uses single crochet and color switching to create two designs. These can be made as two panels or you can stitch them together to make a pillow. Essentially it’s two patterns in one!

The crochet pattern is very simple-- 70 rows of 70 single crochets. The design is made by switching between your neutral and contrast colors as described in the pattern. The pattern gives instructions in 3 formats: written out, quick shortcuts, and a grid pattern. Choose whichever options works best for you.

There is also a link to a quick video tutorial showing how to switch from one color to another. A novice crocheter could complete this project.

I designed each side with opposing symbols. You may recognize them from a certain fandom. And as we all know, you must choose a side. Everyone chooses a side eventually.
