This is a bonus pattern, available to all who purchase The Swish and Flick Collective during the pre-order period. The club can be purchased here.

This pattern is exclusive to pre-order purchases only, and will not be available to purchase separately on Ravelry. Pre-order is available from 17th May to the 30th May. When the first pattern from the collective is published on the 31st May, this bonus pattern will no longer be available.

Please note - this design will now be a permanent pattern within the collective. It became apparent after I removed it as planned, that it was causing issues for knitters not being able to access it via their library. You could access it using a different link on Ravelry, but this didn’t seem to be common knowledge. To avoid confusion and frustration (the last thing I want for all you lovely knitters), the pattern will now form part of the collective.

The moment had finally arrived. Since Clementine had accepted her invitation to attend wizard school, she had been waiting to receive the instructions to make her ‘House Socks’. Casting on the squishy DK weight socks was the moment it finally dawned on her that soon, term would be starting.

’I remember when I knit my Choose Your House Socks’, her mum told her as she started knitting her ribbing. ‘Those dormitory floors are like walking on freshly fallen snow Clem, so if I were you, I would knit yourself a couple of pairs’. ‘Just great’, thought Clementine. But as she looked through her pattern, she realised that this was going to be a quick knit. Clem loved cuff down socks anyway, and the relaxed texture pattern with the contrasting cuffs, heels and toes meant this was going to be fun.

’Two pairs it is then’, Clem called to her mum, who was now busy in the kitchen arranging breakfast for her brothers. ‘I can’t wait to see the new patterns you’ll knit this term’, her mum called back. Clementine had been so focused on this pattern that she’d forgotten there was seven more to come !
As Clem settled into the rhythm of her first sock, the smile on her face lit up their little sitting room like a Christmas tree………

They are a super fun and squishy DK weight pair of socks, with a relaxing texture pattern. Contrast cuff, heel and toe allow you to customise your socks to your own magical house.

They are quick to knit up, making them the perfect thing to work on while you wait for the Swish and Flick Collective to launch !

Full details of the collective can be found here.
