Snowy trees sitting atop splendorous, serene hills, still, in quiet solitude during the heart of winter. Crisp breezes and the crunch of snow underfoot, the smell of pine and cold teasing your senses with wintery goodness. Old World lace and mistletoe hung from the rafters. All of these speak to me of Christmas and I thought to incorporate some of that seasonal nostalgia into these socks. I hope you find some of that nostalgia whilst knitting these lovelies.

My love of the winter season was all the inspiration I needed to create these lovelies.
I recommend knitting these in a green or green tone yarn, due to the design and a smooth worsted spun 4 ply works best for the definition of the design.
This is a lace design that makes a tree shape in the lace. It’s available in one size: women’s medium (8” foot circumference) Negative ease is incorporated into the sizing.
This pattern features a top down construction, an Eye of Partridge heel flap, lovely little lace trees, cables and wedge toe. Instructions are both written and charted.
