Knit from the top down, these short ankle socks have an easily memorized pattern. Two yarns are needed to complete this pattern.

US size 1(2.25 mm) needles are needed, as well as a tapestry needle. Stitch markers are optional. Eye of Partridge heel flap and wedge toe construction. Kitchener stitch is used to graft the toe.

Vanilla Chai has both written and charted instructions. As these are ankle socks, less than a 100 g. skein of the main yarn is used for the small size in gauge, for a pair. Only a small amount is needed for the contrasting heel/toe.
