Have you ever wondered how to knit a seamless flat circle? This coaster pattern will show you!

Ornament adorned Christmas trees are an iconic part of Christmas. This simple coaster pattern pays homage to that tradition. They can also be used as tree ornaments with their hooks.

The ornament cap is worked flat first, and is knitted directly onto the coaster. No seams and no picking up stitches. This Christmas Ornament Coaster is worked seamlessly in the round from the outer cast on edge decreasing to the center.

I have found working from the outside in helps me to finish projects faster. This way you tackle the largest rounds at the beginning when you are most excited about the project. You build momentum as every round gets smaller and quicker. A set of these coasters can be worked up very quickly, and would make a great hostess gift for holiday parties.
