This cozy Christmas Sampler Blanket is the ideal seasonal comforter. A perfect baby blanket or a snuggly throw to curl up under beside the fireplace.

I used Briggs & Little Heritage 2 ply (worsted weight) in the following colors and amounts:

Red (79); 452 g (16oz) 782m - 4 skeins
Paddy Green (65); 339g (12 oz) 587m - 3 skeins
Natural White (01); 226g (8 oz) 391m - 2 skeins.
Gold (36); 30 g (1.06 oz) 52m - 1 skein
Dark Maroon (71); 30 g (1.06oz ) 52m - 1 skein
Dark Green (61); 30 g (1.06 oz) 52m - 1 skein
Light Maroon (72); 20 g (1 oz) 52m - 1 skein
Scarlet (74); 30 g (1.06 oz) 52m - 1 skein

Remember that working in intarsia makes your stockinette gauge a little tighter -- so swatching is a big help.

Watch for more Christmas themed squares to come, giving you the option to add to your blanket!
