A beautiful fair isle Christmas stocking inspired by one of the greatest Christmas movies of all time. The PDF pattern includes step-by-step instructions for the entire stocking and knitting charts for the pattern along the ‘leg’ of the stocking.

This stocking pattern uses the same method as a top-down sock with heel flap (except no grafting for the toe), so if you understand how to knit a sock, this pattern will be easy for you. Instructions are for knit in the round to create a beautiful seamless stocking.

Required Skills: Knitting in the round on circular and double pointed needles, colour strand work with 2 colours, following a knitting chart

Finished size: 13” / 34 cm circumference at cuff, 18” / 45cm from top of cuff to bottom of foot, 10.5” / 27cm from back of heel to tip of toe
