Pinky and Scarlett are Chubby Jingle Bunnies. They are relaxing as they know that as soon as their tiny owner spots them they will be loved, hugged and kissed non-stop!
This design is for the very young and is worked in cotton to allow mum to drop them into the washer and dryer and remove all the “love” that the babies place on them. Even the jingle bell cat toy that is enclosed in the tummy will survive the washer with ease.
The design is an EASY knit and takes only a few hours to complete. It is suitable for any weight or colour of yarn and you will be happy to use your yarn scraps to accomplish a colourful unique Chubby Bunny.
I used Patons Grace but any cotton will do the job nicely.
No safety eyes are used for reasons of safety and the face is embroidered , as are the few decorative touches.
Requiring less than one 50gm ball of cotton, this is one baby shower gift that is sure to please. OR make it for those youngsters that are a bit older and want a new plaything..
