This adorable pencil purse is going to be a hit with girls and possibly with boys as well.

Purse uses less than one skein of pink and tan yarn, with smaller amounts of pink, gray and black.

There are two versions of this purse, easier and more difficult. Find the more difficult version after the easier version. You can also mix and match the versions, depending on how you want the purse to look!

The purse is worked from the top (eraser) on down to the pencil point.

The face on the purse is totally optional, of course. You can also create your own face, if you wish.

If you are doing the face, don’t line the purse, or sew the sides together until the face is done. It is much easier to create it this way!
