How about a vibrant sweater to brighten up your winter?

Any Bulky (Chunky in UK terms) yarn can be used.

While there is a mix of Stocking Stitch and Reverse Stocking Stitch in the pattern, I found that this was a waste of energy with this vibrant yarn - my lovely pattern doesn’t really show up. However, for a plain yarn, or a less vibrant yarn, this detail would really work wonders.

Instructions are in metric … let me know if you would like me to make the pattern in inches as I could do it in a couple of days.

Printing

DO NOT PRINT THE FULL INSTRUCTIONS - JUST PRINT THE PAGES FOR YOUR SIZE.

  • the first page has pictures
  • 2nd to 4th pages have measurements, gauge, notes, etc.
  • after that there are separate instructions for each size, listed one size at a time. With 8 different sizes, just print the 3 pages for your own size.

Knitting standard
This is not for absolute beginners. However, the instructions are very clear - have a look at my other free patterns to see my style of pattern writing. It is for anyone who has ever followed some kind of pattern.

Construction
It is knitted as 4 individual pieces (back, front, 2 sleeves), from bottom up to the top.

Schematics
Each pattern has schematic for each of its pieces - Front, Back and Sleeves. The PDF of this pattern lists an individual pattern for each size. I think that this makes it clearer to follow.
